Imran is a highly skilled Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with over 10 years’ experience in a variety of sectors including FS and Public Sector. Presently responsible for the Information Security posture of a major Bank across 29 countries in Europe, Central Asia and the Middle-East; extensive knowledge of security and industry good practice across the financial, commercial and public sectors. He is an intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who is able to serve as an effective member of the senior management team. A Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the areas of Information Security strategy, Data Leakage Prevention and Privacy Protection, Cyber and Information Security Risk & Assurance. Extensive knowledge of various Information and IT Security areas such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), Cloud Computing, Information Classification, IS Awareness and Training, Identity and Access Management, Computer Forensics and Managed Security Services. Imran is a CLAS Consultant, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Prince 2 Practitioner and is SC cleared. Imran has performed a dual role throughout his career; directing complex consultancy assignments whilst holding responsibility for growing his respective team and practice. He has been responsible for winning large high-profile Information Security engagements within both Private and Public sectors. He has a history of developing new propositions and taking these to market. He has directed complex consultancy assignments, been operationally responsible for leading large Information Security projects and deployments across multi-billion pound global organisations and managed Information and IT Security departments.
